Marshall County Crime Stoppers is a Crime Stopper program similar to those successfully used around the United States since the early 1980s. A volunteer Board of Directors actively administers and is responsible for the program.
Basically, when someone knows something about a crime or potential crime, they can contact the police with complete anonymity online, by text or by phone. Tips that lead to the arrest of suspects, as well as the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000, which are paid to tipsters on an anonymous basis. In surrounding counties that have Crime Stoppers up and running, calls have included information about murder, robbery, rape, assaults, drug and firearm offenses.
We have a need for funding to sustain the program and hope to raise funds through donations from many sources across our community.
Please consider a generous contribution now. Your check should be made out to the Marshall County Crime Stoppers. Other forms of payment and billing options are also available. For online donations see the link below. Your donation will have 501c3 tax deductible status.
Thank you for your donation.
