The Marshall County Crime Stoppers Board started in 2015 with a small group of community volunteers interested in assisting law enforcement to keep our neighborhoods safe. Crime Stoppers has a long history of generating tips to help solve crimes, but such a program has never existed in Marshall County until now.
The Board recognizes the relatively low crime rate that we all enjoy throughout Marshall County. That is exactly what motivated us to make Crime Stoppers a reality – we want to maintain the safe neighborhoods and communities where we live and work. It takes the eyes and ears of everyone to make that happen.
Marshall County Crime Stoppers has the full support of all law enforcement agencies and will be a county-wide resource. All tips will be anonymous and then referred to the appropriate agency. The Board will make decisions on rewards based on the information that leads to an arrest or conviction.
